Elvis Presley "EP" and "TCB" Sunglasses (Circa 1970s). Aviator-style with tinted magenta-violet lenses (non prescription) 14k gold "EP" on bridge of nose, 14k gold "TCB" logo on both temples; included with a letter of provenance (& copies of two cancelled checks) from personal friend & hair stylist, Aurelia (Dupont) Yarbrough. She noted knowing him from 1973-1977, while cutting his hair (& members of the Memphis Mafia) on many occasions Optique Boutique was commissioned by Elvis in the 70's to create these custom glasses for him. 6" x 2.25"Glasses likely date earlier than the time of gifting (1971-73), as glasses have pins holding the TCB on the arms & hooks holding the EP.ME #5831-32Fun notes: Dennis Roberts, Elvis' optician, ran into him at a stop light and told him he "looked like #@%&!".Elvis said, "I feel like #@%&!". Elvis immediately followed him to his shop, and they picked out these famous frames.Elvis' earliest glasses were silver, but he quickly switched to his preferred gold.
