This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of music history. The Elvis Presley Gold Metal Show Card is a prized possession for any music memorabilia collector. This item is a unique find and a must-have for Elvis Presley fans. My good friend Steve Black just got this card in from Dave Hebler a while back. The hand signed letter has been JSA certified, as it is hand signed by Dave Hebler. Elvis Presley, known as the King of Rock 'n' Roll, had a unique tradition of giving out "TCB" (Taking Care of Business) gold show cards to his close friends, associates, and crew members who traveled with him for his concerts and shows. These cards were not made of actual gold but were metallic with a gold finish. They typically had the recipient's name engraved on them, along with the "TCB" logo, symbolizing Elvis's personal motto. The "TCB" logo, accompanied by a lightning bolt, stood for his philosophy of handling business matters swiftly and efficiently. These cards acted as VIP passes or badges of honor, signifying the recipient's close relationship with Elvis and their membership in his inner circle. The cards highlighted the camaraderie and exclusivity among those who were part of his touring entourage. Elvis Presley's musical career was groundbreaking and immensely influential. He rose to fame in the mid-1950s with his innovative blend of rockabilly, rhythm and blues, and country music. Hits like "Heartbreak Hotel," "Hound Dog," and "Jailhouse Rock" catapulted him to stardom. His charismatic stage presence, distinctive voice, and dynamic performance style made him a cultural icon. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, Elvis continued to dominate the music scene with numerous hit records and successful movies. His 1968 "Comeback Special" marked a significant return to live performance, reigniting his career. In the 1970s, he became renowned for his Las Vegas residencies and extensive touring schedule, during which the TCB cards became particularly significant. Elvis's dedication to his craft and his close-knit team was evident in gestures like the TCB gold show cards, underscoring his loyalty and appreciation for those who supported him throughout his illustrious career. Dave Hebler has been a sought after self-defense instructor for over sixty years. Hence, the reason why the world’s greatest entertainer, Elvis Presley, chose Dave to be one of his bodyguards in his personal entourage known as the Memphis Mafia from 1972-76. Dave became an integral part of Elvis’s life after the two met at Ed Parker’s American Kenpo studio in California. Later, Dave became Elvis’s personal Kenpo instructor for several years. Besides being best known as one of the Memphis Mafia members and Elvis’s bodyguard, Dave has a 10th degree black belt in Kenpo karate. One of the true pioneers of American Kenpo Karate, Dave began his martial arts journey under the late Senior Grandmaster and Founder of American Kenpo Karate, Ed Parker, in 1959. Dave is a member of three Hall of Fames: Masters Hall of Fame in 2010, Kenpo Karate Hall of Fame in 2016, and Hall of Fame South America Martial Arts in 2018. Dave travels the world not only speaking about his years with Elvis, but is also a four-time author, gives lectures and workshops on self-defense and assault prevention. When not traveling, Dave resides in Wichita Falls, TX. At the time that I am typing this listing, there are two of these cards for sale on eBay. One is around $1,400 and the other is around $1,600. This card is exactly the same as the other cards that are listed. It is rare and highly desirable to collectors and historians alike. I am attaching a couple of pictures from historical archives that show what these show cards looks like after the engraving was done. This card is blank and unfinished. This auction is for the blank gold card and the autographed letter. The gold metal card is in excellent condition and is a great addition to any collection. The card showcases Elvis Presley's remarkable talent and his impact on the music industry. This is a beautiful piece of music memorabilia that any Elvis Presley fan would be proud to own. Don't miss out on this chance to add this rare item to your collection. Dave Heblers autograph on the bottom of this personal letter.
